Northern California - Part Two
Hi Folks! Welcome back for Part Two of my photos and reflections on the Northern California stretch of the PCT. I've been taking my time working on the blog, partially because I'm super busy, and partially because it is an emotional and confusing task to sift through the photos and memories and try to find words for experiences and feelings that feel very distinct but don't quite translate well into organised thought. Slowly but surely I'm working on it, but at this rate, I'll probably finish my blog well past my 1 year anniversary of my start date! :P Oh well, here is Northern California, Part 2!!! When I left off, I had just made it to Belden, CA, and was relaxing and recharging (literally recharging my electronics) before it was time to head back out on trail, in the sweltering 35°C heat. At this point Mibs had decided to skip ahead to our next resupply in Chester, so I was officially hiking out all on my own! After Belden the trail moves into Lassen...
