I DID IT!!
Well folks, in case some of you haven’t figured it out, I FINISHED THE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL! The WHOLE thing. All two thousand, six hundred and fifty-two miles from the Mexico to Canada. 180 days of being hiker trash, including 24 rest days and 156 days of very challenging hiking. It’s been a month since I finished the trail and honestly, I don’t yet have the words to adequately share what it felt like to get to the northern terminus of the PCT, or what it feels like now to be home. I’m not sure I ever will have the words, but eventually I am going to try to find them, at the very least because it might help me to do some much needed processing. At the USA-Canada border with my celebratory champagne!
